A new chapter after 16 years with our Mégane 3. This is where I'll share occasional modifications, useful fixes and detailed write-ups as we enjoy the Mégane IV RS300 Trophy Phase 2 and continue our Mégane journey.
Our Mégane story began in 2010, when I bought a written-off Mégane 3 as a project for my wife and me. The car was for her, while my Lexus IS250 was my own project, but we both enjoyed getting stuck into the Mégane.
While repairing it, we fitted RS body panels and gave it the look of an RS replica. The rebuild was only the beginning: over the years we kept adding our own touches and modifications until it became something truly unique to us.
If you fancy seeing how it all came together, I've kept two Instagram highlights from those years:

We kept that Mégane 3 for 16 years. My wife loved it, and saying goodbye wasn't easy, but she was ready for an automatic and another Mégane to make new memories with.
There was never much doubt about what would replace it: another Mégane. This time she wanted the real RS, with an EDC automatic gearbox. We found just that in a facelifted, Volcanic Orange Mégane IV RS300 Trophy Phase 2.
The Mégane IV is now her pride and joy, just as the Mégane 3 was for all those years.
My own pride and joy is still the Lexus IS250, where I've spent most of my time on modifications, technical projects and sharing ideas with other enthusiasts. You can follow those adventures on my Lexus IS250 project blog ↗.
Of course, I'll still be getting my hands on the Mégane IV too. After all those years with the Mégane 3, a little tinkering is hard to resist.
This blog is for the occasional guide, modification or useful write-up about her Mégane IV RS300 Trophy Phase 2. If something we learn along the way helps another owner, all the better.
